Vitamin B5 Complex
Vitamin B5 Complex – hydrolysate of brewer’s yeast, wheat germ, wheat bran on a water-glycerol basis.
INCI: Aqua, Glycerin, Hydrolyzed Yeast Protein, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed Wheat Bran, Panthenol, Sodium Benzoate.
The complex consists of brewer's yeast hydrolysate, obtained by hydrolysis from beer hop cones, wheat germ hydrolysate and wheat bran hydrolysate, obtained by water-glycerol extraction with the addition of vitamin B5 (D-panthenol).
The composition of the complex with vitamin B5:
yeast protein hydrolysate, wheat germ hydrolysate, wheat bran hydrolysate in a total concentration of 69.2%;
glycerol in a concentration of 30%;
vitamin B5 (D-panthenol) in a concentration of 0.5%;
preservative sodium benzoate E211 in a concentration of 0.3%.
Physical and chemical properties:
Appearance: clear liquid, slight sediment or opalescence is allowed;
Color: light brown to brown (color variation is allowed);
Odor: characteristic of the odor of the plant raw materials used;
Flash point: not applicable;
Density: 0.950-1.300 g/cm3 (20℃);
Refractive index: 1.3500-1.4500 (20℃);
Solubility in water: completely soluble (20℃).
Stability and reactivity:
The complex is stable under normal storage conditions. Conditions to avoid are temperatures above 40℃.
The vitamin complex is safe for use in cosmetic products.
